INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Best Developer in Vietnam competition! Hosted by PYCOGroup and its partners including Ansarada, MessageMedia and YellowPepper, this competition is open to anyone with a passion for programming!

Starting on October 1st, the finest coders across Vietnam will go through qualification rounds and face each other on November 30th, 2019 in the ultimate contest in Ho Chi Minh City. Students and working professionals are all welcome to compete!

Founder Angels 4 Us
Anh Phan Dinh Tuan is founder of Angels 4 Us, a private investor group in Vietnam. He’s one of 12 Innovation Coaches (Innovation Partnership Program – www.ipp.vn) ever certified in Vietnam.

Tuan Anh currently serves as mentor and member of Board of Advisor at SME Mentoring 1:1, a mentoring program for local entrepreneurs widely recognized as the best mentoring program with the largest members (mentees & mentors) in Vietnam.

He’s also co-founder and editor of 2 popular online publications for startup founder and entrepreneur: (1) Search & Execute, (2) Legal for Startup.

Tuan Anh is well sought advisor, coach & mentor at various entrepreneurial support related programs (IPP Accelerator, IPP - VMAP, Smart City Vietnam Challenges, Shark Tank Vietnam, Startup Weekend, Upshift at UNICEF, Youth:Co Lab at UNDP, Saigon Innovation Hub, …).

He holds an MA in Entrepreneurial Management from the European Business School London (EBSL) and a combined BA in Business Law & Commerce from Bond University in Australia.

Co-founder and CEO GameJam
Christian Calderon started his career as an investment banker, where he completed over 30 transactions totaling over $3 billion in value.

After Investment Banking, Chris decided to make games, and joined KIXEYE (acquired by Stillfront Group), a San Francisco-based games developer, as their Head of Revenue to oversee their portfolio of games. Chris then served as VP of Marketing & Revenue at Dots, a New York City based mobile games studio where he developed and launched Two Dots, a 1# hit game in over 100 countries.

Chris then joined Ketchapp as their Chief Revenue Officer, a Paris-based games studio, where he further released over 100 mobile games with over 1 billion downloads worldwide. In 2016, the 6-person company, was acquired by Ubisoft. Chris is now the Co-Founder & CEO at Gamejam, a Vietnam-based game studio focused on building fun and beautiful mobile games.

Founder & CEO Silentinum Vietnam
Duc Dao has been working on applying technologies to improve health care coordiniation experience over last 5 years. Duc is currently the founder and CEO of Silentium Private Limited, a healthcare startup in the heart of Saigon.

Before founding Silentium, he taught himself over years to be a well-rounded developer, a devops and a product manager at Ego Pulse (CTO), Atlassian (Senior Team Lead), Wego.com (Project Manager) and NTT Data (Product Manager)

Laurent is holding the position of General Manager Technology, Digital & Assisted Channels at National Australia Bank since 2018. He has proven experience in leadership, architecting and shipping large scale distributed systems from the ground up.

During 2015-2018, he was a Vice President of Customer Experience at WalmartLabs, engineering solutions that bridge the digital and in-store experiences across devices for Walmart’s customers. Under his leadership, WalmartLabs has increased its commitment to adopt modern technologies and open source development.

Benjamin Mostafa is the Chief Technology Officer at MessageMedia, overseeing a globally distributed technology team building and maintaining a highly available global messaging platform delivering over 2 billion messages per year for over 50,000 customers.

Over the last 5 years, MessageMedia's technology stack has moved from managed hardware running in a co located data centre, to a microservice based distributed Cloud based platform running in AWS and more recently - Serverless technologies have been introduced to the infrastructure mix, using AWS Lambda and Step functions.
